It is with deep gratitude and a strong sense of responsibility that I announce my appointment as Liaison Representative of the Pontifical Academy of Theology, conferred by His Most Reverend Excellency Monsignor Antonio Staglianò, President of the Academy.
This appointment represents not only a great honor for me, but also a mission I intend to fulfill with humility, dedication, and a spirit of service. In an era marked by profound cultural, technological, and spiritual transformations, the role of theological thought—engaged in dialogue with science, ethics, and emerging forms of artificial intelligence—is more necessary and central than ever.
The Pontifical Academy of Theology—established to promote and deepen the dialogue between faith and reason—today bears a historical responsibility: to reflect and contribute, with rigor and vision, to the understanding of the human condition in the age of digital transformation and emergent intelligence.
In this role, I will work to foster meetings, reflections, and initiatives capable of connecting seemingly distant worlds: theology and technology, spirituality and science, doctrine and innovation.
I once again thank His Excellency Monsignor Staglianò for the trust he has placed in me, and I reaffirm my commitment to serve this role with a spirit of unity, openness, and responsibility, aware that now more than ever, we are called to build bridges of meaning, understanding, and cooperation for the good of humanity.
